HOW YOU CAN TEACH GIFTED HANDS

Gifted children can be a joy to educate when you know how to identify what engages them.

THESE ARE TIPS YOU CAN USE TO TEACH THEM

Whether you’re a newbie or an old hand at tutoring these high-thinkers, these tips are good to have in your bag.

 KEEP THEM ACTIVE

Gifted children frequently need to have the capability to move when learning … pacing, flopping, and bouncing are ways of their thinking process, all these keep them active at all times.

 OFFER FLEXIBLE SEATING

A window seat is a favorite place when offering a gifted child a seat, keep that in mind.  Try to offer different seating options, for example sitting in a circle.

MODEL SOCIAL SITUATIONS

Social situations can be challenging for some gifted children as their ability to understand social life can be underdeveloped. Plan with other teachers to model them in a  proper way to start exchange programs that will help them to interact well with others who are not in their circles.

 SHARE CURRENT EVENTS

Current events are important to incorporate into gifted children’s process of learning. We want these children to be able to solve problems and know how they can use their brains to solve real-world/life problems.

 ALLOW FOR GROUPINGS

All gifted hands are not meant to be designed the same way, they should be allowed occasionally to work alone or in a group with similar interests. Indeed cross-grade groupings work well with gifted children

FOLLOW CHILD LABOR LAW

Gifted children who finish beforehand shouldn't automatically be the schoolteacher’s helpers. A blessed or gifted child can be the worst pupil or student to help other students or pupils because their smartness may not help other children to learn better. Therefore, they should not be a substitute for teachers' roles

 GIVE THEM END DATES

Give gifted hands clear endpoints on assignments. Gifted hands can produce surprisingly high results beyond imagination especially when you let them know where to stop on their assignment can be very helpful. That's set target goals that are timely for them.

SET REALISTIC GOALS

Once gifted children have written a letter, you can set the date for it to be transferred or submitted through their inbox to your mail. What a great way for gifted children to meet goals and produce natural check-in points or met deadlines!.

 TEACH DECISION MAKING

Gifted children can have a huge case of (FOMO) fear of missing out. They understand that opinions have consequences, and occasionally they need to be given details about their targets. Allow the gifted pupil to completely understand the pros and cons of decision making to make the right decision at the right time

BE PATIENT WITH GIFTED CHILD

Students or pupils who are gifted recycle a lot in their minds. Be patient and give them the time to reflect on what they need to come up with as an agreement they can live within life.

USE BRAIN BREAKS

Offer gifted children busy schedules that can help them calm their busy minds. Educating them on how to breathe, meditate, make friends or anything that allows them to concentrate precisely on details can help them quiet some of the redundant noise in their minds.

ALLOW THEM TO FOCUS

Let gifted hands children pursue their interests, However, it takes time to be an expert. To get the best out of them allow these children to concentrate on whatever they are doing, don't distract or discourage them

FIND INSTRUCTORS FOR GIFTED HANDS

Gifted hands need instructors within their interest areas. Instructors can educate the gifted child on how to navigate through professions and can indeed be doorkeepers to fresh openings or we refer to the instructors as guidance or counselors

ALLOW THEM TO SOLVE PROBLEMS

They need to do good things with the gifts they've been given. Give these children the opportunity to solve original problems and make them see the need for change in their community or environment.

 In conclusion

The above tips on how to help gifted hands children aren't only useful to schoolteachers but also good for parents who have gifted hands. Any parent that has a child who tells him or her that he's bored and you know he's intelligent, that child is blessed, please apply all listed above or some to help the child.
